Medically Supported Detox

The mental and physical symptoms of alcohol and drug withdrawal can be overwhelming, but the process does not have to be. Our Detox program, which is the first part of our Residential program, is medically-supported. Our trained staff of Doctors, Nurse Practitioners, RN’s and LPN’s will assist you in making sure your detox is safe and as comfortable as possible.

Why Is Medically Supported Detox Necessary?

Once you have become dependent or addicted, you are going to experience mild to severe withdrawal symptoms when you attempt to stop taking drugs or alcohol.  The detox process should take place in a closely monitored Inpatient setting. In some cases, it feels impossible to stop.

The U.S. government has estimated that 95% of the people who try to stop taking opioids on their own fail to complete their withdrawal. If a person is dependent or addicted to opioids like OxyContin, Oxycodone, Methadone or on an opiate-like Heroin or Fentanyl, the withdrawal may not be life-threatening, but it is usually so painful that people are just unable to cope and wind up using, yet again.
